The EMS Administrative Director is a department director for Northwest Community Healthcare and is responsible for effective strategic planning and the administrative, financial, and human resource management for the Northwest Community EMS System on a 24-hour basis ensuring high quality and cost-effective delivery of EMS services. Directly supervises NWCH EMS clerical staff with a span of influence which extends to monitoring and/or directing the EMS activities of seven Associate Hospital EMS Coordinators, 250 Emergency Communications Registered Nurses (ECRNs), 400 EMT-B's, 950 EMT-P's, and a small number of Prehospital RN's. Facilitates and monitors EMS activities for 22 EMS Agencies who perform in excess of 95,000 runs per year. Reports to the Director of Emergency Services and collaborates with the EMS Medical Director and IDPH.
