Illinois Measles Outbreak

An outbreak of measles has been declared in northern Illinois (suburban Cook County). The first case of measles since 2019 was confirmed in Cook County on October 13, 2023. Since then, four more individuals have tested positive for measles. All five of these individuals were unvaccinated.
