Governor signs SB3414 (EMS Education Standards)

Governor Pat Quinn, on Friday, August 15, 2014, signed into law Senate Bill 3414 which allows the state to adopt the New Education Standards.
The IDPH would like to thank all of the individuals and groups who supported and assisted in making the passage of this major piece of legislation a reality.
Once the Administrative rules are adopted through JCAR, this will allow Illinois EMS education programs to move forward with the new curricula and will place Illinois in alignment with the majority of the other states.
