Peer Educators

EMS educators act as learning coaches, resources, and facilitators of learning for understanding. Peer educators are valued not only as instructors but serve as role models exemplifying the standards of excellence for their scope of practice in the NWC EMSS. Therefore, they must demonstrate competency in and the ability to accurately teach all elements within their span of authority and responsibility. They must also demonstrate the ability to accurately and appropriately communicate and apply the content and principles contained in the Northwest Community EMS System SOPs, Policies, and Procedures.
