Schaumburg FD stopping non-employee in-station visits

The SFD is experiencing an increased rate of positive COVID cases among our personnel. In an effort to curb the spread and protect all individuals the following is being implemented beginning January 2022.
Effective January 1, 2022 the Schaumburg Fire department has closed its In-Station classes to all visitors (non-SFD employees). This will be re-evaluated for February and ensuing months.
While I realize this may limit available in-person offerings to system medics it is necessary for all involved parties. It does look like the system will be offering more virtual classes.
