i-gel Tutorial - Mandatory Education & Skill Competency

What’s changing?  The January 2019, In-station CE will generally introduce the i-gel, a new supraglottic airway for adults and children that will replace the King LTS-D.

What we are asking:  Each EMS agency is asked to designate sufficient Peer II or higher educators to complete the more detailed roll-out education and competency measurements.

Who must be competencied?  All System paramedics and PHRNs.

DUE DATE: education & competency measurements by March 1, 2019
